Co-founder & Director
Adam Hinds co-founded Unique Needs with one clear goal: support that treats each person as an individual, not a number. With over nine years in aged care and 4 years disability support, he stays hands-on — working directly alongside people to make sure they feel valued, respected, and genuinely heard. Adam has built Unique Needs around a small, consistent team, because he knows familiar faces and real relationships are what make good support truly work.

Kellie Soule co-founded Unique Needs with four years of dedicated support work behind her, and a natural gift for connecting with people. She believes genuine relationships sit at the heart of outstanding care, and her warmth makes people feel heard, understood, and comfortable from the very first meeting. Kellie has lived and worked in Launceston for years, and she is passionate about helping people feel at home in their own community.
Team Leader
Richard is our team leader and brings more than 12 years of experience in dementia and aged care to his disability support work, along with a deep well of patience and compassion. He takes the time to understand each person's story, building trust slowly and properly, then tailoring his support around what actually helps them thrive. His steady, respectful approach means you always know what to expect — and you always feel valued.
Disability Support Worker
Fiona has worked as a dedicated and nurturing support worker for over three years, and her patient, non-judgmental nature puts people at ease straight away. She takes the time to understand what each person needs, and adapts her support to match — never rushing, never assuming. With a deep love of animals, camping, and making memories, Fiona brings warmth and genuine enjoyment to every visit, and she is especially good at supporting people to get out and enjoy the Launceston community they love.

Chloe is a passionate and caring support worker who recently completed her Certificate III in Individual Support. New to the field but full of genuine enthusiasm, she brings warmth, dedication, and a fresh perspective to every shift — and she is excited to be building her career right here in Launceston. Chloe is committed to respectful, person-centred care that helps each person feel empowered, safe, and supported in their daily lives. Her genuine desire to make a difference shows in everything she does.

Kye is a compassionate and motivated support worker who recently completed his Certificate III in Individual Support. With a calm, supportive nature and a strong commitment to helping others, Kye is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of the people he supports. Enthusiastic about beginning his career in disability services, he is focused on person-centred care that respects each person's unique needs, goals, and preferences — supporting them to live life on their own terms, right here in Launceston.

With over 20 years of experience in aged care, Wendy brings a wealth of compassion, skill, and understanding to the Unique Needs team. Known for her gentle approach and fun, uplifting personality, she has a natural ability to make those around her feel safe, supported, and heard. Wendy is a highly capable and committed support worker whose care genuinely reflects each person's individual needs. Now bringing her skills into the disability support space here in Launceston, she is already making a wonderful impact with her warm and professional presence.

Jo is one of the newest members of the Unique Needs team, and she has taken to the role with genuine enthusiasm and confidence. Hands-on, practical, and always willing to get involved, she has a warm, magnetic personality that makes people feel comfortable around her — and she brings plenty of energy and positivity to her work.
It's clear that Jo is built for this kind of role. She enjoys connecting with people, having a laugh, getting out and about, and supporting people to make the most of their day. Her approachable nature and willingness to give things a go have already made her a great addition to the team here in Launceston.
